Room 28 News

Hello Rm. 28 Families,

Welcome to 4th grade class of 2018-19!  I am Crystal Fountaine and will be your child's teacher.

Please drop your child off on time each day and help encourage 100% attendance all year long. Most importantly, we will be getting to know each other this first few weeks of school and your child will be learning classroom and school procedures. We are a team towards your children's success, so please work with me and the Lorne St. staff to encourage behavior and academic goals.

Please sign your child's planner each evening and check to see that they are finishing the assignments written in the planner, what behavior they had each day along with viewing any notes I may have sent home. We are working on being more organized and prepared for each day and building good habits.

You can reach me via email at:, please understand that during school hours I am teaching your children and won't likely be checking email, but usually return emails within 24-36 hours. If there is something imperative to tell me, please call the office at (818) 342-3123 to leave me a message. I welcome you to use my email or send in a note to set up appointments to meet with me all through the year to discuss your child. We will be using ClassTag application to facilitate communication this year. It works with text messages and via email in addition to the app for smart phones and online.

I look forward to meeting you all and having a great school year with your children!
